The easiest way to get PrEP is to get a prescription from an informed doctor. We have heard of stories where people are denied a prescription because their physician doesn't understand who actually qualifies to take PrEP. You don't need to be in a committed relationship in order to take PrEP. This therapy is meant to help protect everyone who is potentially at risk and healthy enough to take it.
First your doctor will test you for HIV and that your kidneys and liver are functioning properly. Some clinics offer "rapid HIV testing" and will then write you a prescription immediately afterwards.Once you get your prescription, you scan it, upload it and purchase online.
Some clinics may require that you make a second appointment to come back and get your script. You can then use the script to purchase your PrEP from overseas for your personal use.
